Is this, like, a challenge or something? Should there be more Canada Girls? 'Cause as a Recovering Preacher's Kid who relates most closely to the "Samaritan woman at the well," I think I might qualify...
:) sorry i just now saw this. i invited beth to do this with me because we are pretty much patty duke identical cousins, but with crazy-different theological upbringings. since we share so many of the same nueroses, this was a way for us to explore how differently we interpret the bible.
also, it was in part inspired by julie and julia, and the fact that beth and i both left the same sermon once and had these reactions:
me: god hears his children and takes care of them in the end. beth: god punishes his children even when they see the error of their ways.
wah wah.
